Digital Nomad Visa Requirements
A Digital Nomad Visa allows non-EU/EEA to live and work in Spain for a 12-month period which can be extended to 5 years.
What is required?
A foreign-based active job contract.
Minimum requirements for salaried workers are:
The employer must be a 1-year-old company.
The job must be 3 months old, cover all the residency expected time, and can be done through an internet connection.
For self-employed workers, an active professional relationship with Spanish companies is a must.
Sufficient income proof.
Provable minimum income € 2.160,0/month.
In case of other family members applying, an additional 75% for your partner, plus 25% for each other member.
Medical insurance.
It must cover all the family members applying for all the residency expected time.
Criminal records.
A five-year history clean file from all the countries lived during these years is compulsory.
Other requirements.
You haven’t lived in Spain the previous 5 years.
You aren’t living in Spain illegally.
No minimum period is required to initiate your application.
You stay in Spain for 6 months out of 12 (minimum) for renewals.
You can apply before the Tourist Visa expiration date (90 days).
You profit from a reduced tax rate (24%), up to € 600 k/year.
Spain has Double Taxation Agreements with several countries.
